Something to get me blogging again…

I never seem to blog anymore so I decided to just start with a random blog today. We had these generic Jenga blocks (sans writing) that I gave to lil’ dude, but they were boring (in my opinion). So I used safe dyes to color them! I put the blocks in warm water and then dabbed them dry. The dye was able to spread more evenly with them being a bit damp. I used a silicone BBQ sauce brush to spread the dye. Takes a couple hours to fully dry and then it’s time to play!

I watch movies

So, what have I watched lately? Here are the most recent ones

Sucker Punch. Weird movie. That’s pretty much all I have to say. I had no clue what this movie was supposed to be about. I had no clue it was going to be weird like this! It could have been a lot better though…

I am number four. Good movie. Better than I expected actually. I tend to look up a movie, have no clue what it’s about, but if the rating doesn’t include anything sexual I will watch it. I think it’s much more fun watching a  movie when I’ve never seen a preview or heard about it.

I watched this many times when I was a kid. I guess we watched it on TV because I know my parents wouldn’t have let us watch a movie with tons of swearing! TV tends to bleep out all the swearing. Thank goodness for that!

Gremlins. Our little dude watched the whole movie with me. Apparently he’s too young to be scared and laughed at every “scary” scene.

Gremlins 2. Funny, but also lame. But more funny than lame. Our little dude watched this one with me as well.

We’ve also watched Rocky 1, 2, 3, and 4. Thought I would not like them, but I loved them! Good movies!

We are always watching movies so I’m not even going to go further than these or my blog would take a year to read.

No tail, short legs, no ears.

 

A weird shot I got of Chika that makes me giggle.

Chika in a tunnel. She may or may not be trying to hypnotize me. It didn’t work. Unless she hypnotized me into blogging about her. Then it did work. I will never know.

Staring at Priscilla the mouse who was currently sleeping in her little house. Mouse doesn’t care that Chika looks at her. Just ignores her. Chika thinks she’s going to get yelled at and gets confused when I just walk on by.

It turned out so blurry. But the blurriness shows Rudy for who he is. Crazy. Haha poor dog. I do love him.

Skeek skeek

I have something to blog about. This something is a lil’ mousie I adopted yesterday. She’s pretty cool. Lorne named her Priscilla and our lil’ dude quite likes her! He says “Mouse skeek skeek” and keeps pointing out her “wawa” dish.

I was asked “Why a mouse and not a hamster?” This is why. Hamsters will jump out of your hands or whatever object they are on. Mice cling to you and never jump off of you. Here she is walking down me as I was standing. They’re also a lot smarter, cleaner and smaller.

Handing her to our little dude. He was very gentle.
